Children are bullied and bully every day, many without any understanding of how to manage their emotions and from an early age lack the ability to manage life changing situations. Statistics are everywhere stating how many of these children become violent offenders early on. What if parents learned the tools to teach children how to navigate a strong sense of self; a strong ‘Internal Guidance System’? It would certainly lead to parenting with more ease and less anxiety.

Every new parent is worried about what that navigation entails. Every parent that is not so new to the-most-important-job-in-the-world is concerned about how to (for example) help teens be independent strong people that make decisions for their greatest good. It starts with the parent. Sharon Ballantine has answers, and guidance that will change the world of parents and ultimately their children in her new book, “The Art of Blissful Parenting.”

“I am honored to be reading and signing my books on the tour, and talking with parents about how children can be taught that violence should not be an option, and other issues like doing well in school,” says author Sharon Ballantine. “It goes beyond telling children what is right and wrong. There is so much violence and pain that can be avoided by teaching children what it really means to feel and then decide how to act, through teaching them to listen to their own Internal Guidance.”

In her new book, “The Art of Blissful Parenting” author Sharon Ballantine candidly shares how she learned to overcome her fears as a mother, her mistakes, and how she came into her own ‘Internal Guidance System’ and taught it to her children. It is her mission and passion above all else to help parents understand how to teach their children how to understand themselves and the world. Why do children bully others and why do they become victims? The list of what our children are exposed to goes on. Come to the book events and learn, share and feel better and more confident as a parent.

Teaching Children to Navigate Life Independently Leads to Blissful Parenting

What if parents could learn to create a bond with children that creates people that do not doubt, do not take things personally or bully others? Is it really possible? Yes. Raising a child through the Law of Attraction and showing them how to be their best self from the beginning is at the core of the Internal Guidance System created by Sharon Ballantine (author, speaker and creator of the Ballantine Parenting Institute) with roots in the Law of Attraction taught by Jerry and Esther Hicks.

The Art of Blissful Parenting – Teaching Your Children How To Follow Their Internal Guidance by Sharon Ballantine, (Balboa Press, January 2016, available now through Balboa Press, Amazon, Barnes & Noble and soon to independent bookstores) offers guidance for parents seeking a way to inspire children to become their best self. Parents must first learn the Internal Guidance System (IGS) to be able to teach it to children. Children need to be able to count on themselves and be completely comfortable within the skin they possess. Teaching kids to know what their feelings are indicating to them early on, can help with the transition into puberty, the teenage years, and adulthood—knowing they harbor everything needed inside to create ideal lives.

Society today does a great disservice to children by teaching them that their answers exist within other people and other things – a limiting belief. The book is written in easy flowing form, and uses language that tells a story and makes learning the process fun and enjoyable for parents.

“As I was teaching my kids about their Internal Guidance and they reached their pre-teen years, I suddenly forgot everything I knew. Fear set in as to what their choices might be and the consequences they may face. The period of time I spent in control mode with my children taught me everything I needed to know about what didn’t work, before I came full circle and found what did, ” says author Sharon Ballantine.

The official launch for the book will be in the greater Seattle area March, 2016. To be notified of the official launch party for the book, sign up here. Books will be available for purchase online, and will be given out at the entrance to the event.
